I am from Bulgaria. Currently I am graduating with a M.S. in Human-Centered Computing at UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County) in December 2018. I am currently participating in a research team, conducting studies, successfully defended my Master's Thesis titled "Current Practices and Emerging Needs of Care Recipients with Mild Cognitive Impairment and Their Caregivers Seeking to Negotiate Optimal Use of Online Services." under the supervision of Dr. Helena Mentis as a part of my program. My research interest falls into creating technology design solution to help people improve their lives. I would like to continue doing User experience research at industry level and keep broadening my horizons while gaining new skills.
I am a former member of the varsity volleyball team of the university where I played for 4 years. I have been an athlete since I was 11 so I have spent a good amount of my time learning how to be a beneficial part of a team and understanding how important teamwork is especially when it comes to dealing with pressure or negative results. Outside of athletics, I love to spend my free time traveling.
